Description

For any learning to happen, teachers need to be able to plan effectively. Executing a lesson without sound planning often leads to a myriad of challenges, including the lack of clarity during classroom delivery. In contrast, solid planning results in more effective classroom management and the informed use of learning activities to meet learning needs. This is particularly true when teachers have to collaborate in co-planning and co-teaching, where human dynamics is a factor to consider in planning.

This course exposes you to key concepts that underpin planning. Through learning activities designed to be highly collaborative, you will examine a range of classroom management and learning principles, models of co-planning and co-teaching, and use these to make informed decisions in your planning for effective learning for your students.
